Of course they got their own prints to remember the evening by. Most of the backdrop was obscured by the colourful creations sprouting from their backs, but testing proved conclusive: fully operational and entirely hilarious. They seemed to get the hang of it pretty quickly… We drafted in a couple of the fabulously-feathered carnival dancers to test out the booths at the party before the night began. The listed building – formerly known as ‘Shed 11’ – retains its unique industrial feel but now with the added glam of chandeliers and bespoke furniture. The Showtime Events Centre is one of Melbourne’s finest riverside venues, having been splendidly restored in recent years. The twin backdrops produced twice the splash as usual, giving a nice bright Brazilian beach feel to this side of the hall… like taking a few tropical holiday snaps right in the heart of Melbs. It’s a bit of secret who this party was organised for, but needless to say they were super happy with the twin-booth setup and social media sizzle generated. Guests loved the complete lack of queuing for their photo booth pics, streaming through the booths with their festival getups and carnival schtick in full swing. Get the idea? TWO of everything, that’s right. That means two booths, two custom-printed backdrops, two lots of custom prints and two lots of shareable gifs pouring through the two social media sharing stations. To get all the 1200 party people through our booths in good time we shipped in two complete setups of photo booth Braziliana.
